best. day. ever. this morning Megan got a call from the people down at Camaronal that the sea turtles were laying their eggs. We are actually going to work with the volenteers tomorrow, but today was a speacial treat. It has been quite windy and the volunteers think the wind has coerced the turtles into laying their eggs in broad daylight. This usually NEVER happens so it is really incredible that I was able to catch this on film. Mattie, Margaret, and I packed our lunches and ate under this little hut on the beach. After that, we headed to Samara for a little shopping and American food. I think I may have gone a bit over board. Everything was just so cute! Plus, I love getting change back in colones ( Costa Rican currency).
