We went for a road trip out to San Miguel which was absolutely gorgeous. We stopped at almost every town we passed in order to get to San Miguel exactly at high tide. There was a soccer game going on nearby and we watched the game for a while. We ate at this really hippy surf joint called the Flying Scorpion. They sold everything...even sushi. After lunch we headed to the beach and I tried my hand at boogie boarding. It was incredibly fun. I caught a few waves. I really want to go surfing though. Anyway after that, I walked up and down the beach looking for things to expand my shell collection. I found a few really pretty sand dollars and shells that are my favorite color (lilac). Mr. DuBois then set up hammocks for us to watch the sunset. It was absolutely beautiful.
